AMAROK, a Polish melodic and progressive rock band led by Michal Wojtas, a multi-instrumentalist from Poland, reissued their third album from Ars Mundi in 2004 from Oskar, Poland in '24! Mariusz Duda(vo) from RIVERSIDE,The album features Michal Sciwiarski (key/sampling/programming/effects), Andrzej Rajski (drs/perc), Rafal Nowak (effects), and other guests from the former AUTOMATIK, and was produced and released full-time. As can be seen from the participation of programming/effects players, this album is a complete change from the previous two albums,This is a piece that boldly introduces house/trance/electro-oriented elements such as sequences and loops. While challenging the style and worldview of Mike Oldfield in the 90s/00s by adding world music and ethno elements, it also brings to the forefront a more solid and stylish sense that is unique to the younger generation, as well as lyrical melodies and guitar playing that the original artist of the same period had been hiding. This is an excellent work with the same high degree of perfection as the previous two albums, although in a different direction!
