Many world premiere recordings! Self-written and self-performed! New saxophone works by Noda Ichi! A collection of new saxophone music written by composer, saxophonist, and music therapist Noda Ibito (b.1948), who has created much important repertoire for the modern saxophone. All new works were written between 2015 and 2019 for a variety of orchestras, from one to four saxophones only, and include works that use Japanese music and Japanese imagery, as well as works from the art of Douagnier Rousseau (Henri Rousseau), Claude Monet, Haruki Murakami, Odilon Redon, and others. The music will be rich in imagery, including works inspired by the works of Douagnier Dansaud (Henri Dansaud), Claude Monet, Haruki Murakami, and Odilon Redon. With the exception of "Dance Dance Dance" and "Dream (3 Pieces)," all of the pieces are world premiere recordings. Noda studied at Osaka College of Music, Northwestern University Graduate School, and Conservatoire de Bordeaux in France, and has been active as both a saxophonist and composer mainly in Paris. D. from Nihon University Graduate School of Medicine in 2004. He is currently a professor at Osaka University of Arts.He has been awarded the Prize of the French Society of Composers, the Honorary Prize of the City of Bordeaux, the Osaka Arts Festival Prize (Gold, Silver, and three Bronze Prizes), and the Encouragement Prize of the Osaka Citizens' Theatre.
