This recording includes two concerto cantatas and two Bach cantatas, both of which feature expressive recitative and technical arias, and both of which are influenced by Italian opera. Both cantatas are full of expressive recitative and technical arias, and show the influence of Italian opera. The concerto-like sinfonia with a solo organ accompaniment is also a feature of this recording. Many of you may have heard the same music as the harpsichord concerto (the sinfonia in BWV 35 is the first movement of BWV 1059, and the sinfonia in BWV 169 is known as the first movement of BWV 1053). Coupled with the organ solo Toccata, Adagio and Fugue, this album can also be enjoyed as an album in which the organ is active throughout. Leo van Dusselaar is a professor at the Berlin University of the Arts and plays organ, piano, and pianoforte, with a repertoire that spans several centuries. King International
