Debut album by Elliott Moss, a young New York SSW reminiscent of Son and Chet Faker! Born into a musical family of three generations of musicians, Elliott Moss began learning guitar at an early age and eventually switched to drums. He began learning guitar at an early age and eventually switched to drums. He started writing songs at the age of 13 and formed a band when he was in high school. In his sophomore year of high school, he began to stay in his bedroom and create tracks with guitar and programming beats, and put lyrics on them. Later, with the income he earned from web design, he built a studio in his home, customized modular synths, and recorded this album. The album features an electronica + soulful voice in the vein of Son, Chet Faker, and James Blake, as well as songwriting influenced by electro, jazz, and ambient music. The album's themes of hope and loss are set to powerful, repetitive rhythms.In the U.S., where the album debuted earlier, the dance video for "Slip," choreographed and produced by Phillip Chbeeb, spread by word of mouth and has been viewed more than 23 million times. The singer says that his aim is to be like David Byrne or Damon Albarn, and that he wants to "continue to make music that is open-minded and outside of the box.
