Producer brings together the colorful talents of South London Footshooter releases a new album! Footshooter, the alias of South London-based producer and DJ Barney Whittaker, incorporates influences from broken beat, jazz and house, working with rappers, poets and vocalists to create a futuristic, soulful sound that pays homage to the sounds of the past. His releases on Saul, his project with Jack Stephenson-Oliver, have been well received, and he has appeared on Boiler Room London, We Out Here, and has been a regular DJ on Balamii Radio for the past five years. He has also been a regular DJ on Balamii Radio for the past five years.Footshooter has released a new album, "Oasis," on Tru Thoughts! The album is a collaborative effort that captures the diverse moods of the past three years, including "Cycles" and "Surrey Canal Road" featuring tenor saxophonist James Mollison of the Ezra Collective, "Obelisk" featuring North London rapper Natty Wylah and rapper brother portrait, who also appears on Saul's tracks, and "Oasis" featuring the likes of Rihanna, Rihanna, and Rihanna. Wylah and rapper brother portrait, who also appears on Saul's music, are featured on "Obelisk," and Allysha Joy's smooth voice is featured on the beautiful "Folding," among the 10 tracks. Deep, sensual, edgy and dynamic, this is a condensed version of the forefront of South London!
