Long-awaited reissue of "Wrong Way Up" (1990) with John Cale, a masterpiece of Brian Eno's collaborations in the 1990s, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release! This is the first time in 15 years that the two icons of leftfield music, Roxy Music and the Velvet Underground, have collaborated on 1990's "Wrong Way Up," a collaboration between two icons who have been at the center of the creative process for both of their revolutionary bands. In 1974, Eno was a guest musician on each other's records, and in the same year, Kevin Ayers, John Cale, Nico, and Brian Eno released the legendary live album "June 1, 1974," and the two have stayed in touch ever since. The year before "Wrong Way Up", Eno produced Cale's album "Words For The Dying".The result of the trust that had developed between the two over the years, this album was also notable in that it was Brian Eno's first vocal work since 1977's "Before and After Science" and produced the single hits "Spinning Away" and "Been There Done That". The reissue of the album features the original recording of "Spinning Away" and "Been There Done That". In addition to the original tracks, this reissue includes "Grandfather's House" and "Palanquin," which were released as B-sides to the "Spinning Away" single, as bonus tracks.
