Influenced by the minimalist music of the 60s and 70s, baroque music, and experimentation in studio environments, Canadian artist Sarah Davachi uses analog synthesizers, piano, electronic organs, pipe/lead organs, vocals, tape samplers, and orchestral sounds in her latest release, "Antiphonals". Influenced by the minimalist music of the 60s and 70s, baroque music, and experimentation in studio environments, Canadian artist Sarah Davachi uses analog synthesizers, piano, electronic organs, pipe/reed organs, vocals, tape samplers, and orchestral music to create her compositions. This album can be described as "a progressive rock album with only keyboard parts. The quiet and joyful sounds of the harpsichord, piano, and organ are complemented by the beautiful sounds of the woodwinds, resulting in a quiet masterpiece. All songs were composed, performed, produced, recorded, and mixed by Sarah herself, and mastered by Sean McCann. The recording was done using an RE-501 Chorus Echo and a TEAC A-2340.
