The unedited version of "I Wanna Be Where You Are" from the deluxe edition of MARVIN GAYE's "I WANT YOU" released in 2003 is now available on 12inch for the first time! Many of you may have been waiting for this. "I Wanna Be Where You Are" from MARVIN GAYE's "I WANT YOU" was only 1 minute and 16 seconds short on the original album, but it was included as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of the album released in 2003. The unedited version, included as a bonus track, was the first time a full-length version of the song was released at over six minutes in length, which many soul fans marveled at the time. It was also cut as a 7inch in 2018 and sold out immediately, and used copies are now at a high price. This is the first time SOUTH STREET DISCO has released a 12inch version of the song, which was composed by LEON WARE and ARTHUR ROSS and recorded by top-notch musicians.The B-side also features a jam-alternative mix of "I Want You," which was also included as a bonus track on the deluxe edition. The sweet soaring track and whispering vocals of MARVIN GAYE fade out as they reach their peak, guaranteed to send listeners into a whirlwind of rapture. A double-sider for all soul fans!
