The "Wizard of the Keyboard," one of the leading figures of progressive rock, will release a 32-CD + 32-DVD limited edition box set featuring many of his solo works and videos from his golden years, including his first official appearance. Rick Wakeman, the "wizard of the keyboard" who has performed many masterpieces and masterpieces both as a solo artist and in bands such as Yes.The 32-CD+DVD limited edition box set compiled from his solo works from the early to late 70's, which is considered the golden era of his career, as well as sound and video recordings from the same period. As the title of "THE PROG YEARS" suggests, the collection includes four studio albums from "THE SIX WIVES OF HENRY VIII" (1972) to "NO EARTHLY COLLECTION" (1976) released during Jesus' tenure, the movie of the same name, and a DVD of the same name released as a soundtrack. Six solo albums, including "LISZTMANIA" (1975) and "WHITE ROCK" (1976), both of which were released as soundtracks for the film of the same name, plus two live recordings from two shows in Tokyo and Osaka in 1975, titled "LIVE IN JAPAN 1975", and "AND THE REST...", which was released in 1975. THE REST..." and "AND THE REST... and "AND THE REST...", a live performance in Anaheim, California in 1975 and a studio session recorded during the production of "White Rock".Each solo album contains a variety of rare sound and video materials, from alternate/demo recordings, live performances in the US, UK, Europe, and Australia in the 1970s, interviews, and TV broadcasts, to "Lisztomania" and "White Rock" films. In addition, two newly-added CDs and DVDs are compiled and edited with sound sources that have never appeared officially before, including two concerts in Japan in 1975, and are highly coveted by fans. Each CD and DVD is packaged in its own 4-sided slipcase and comes with a hardcover scrapbook, reprints of tour/movie promotional posters, postcards with photos of promotional materials, reprints of record company promotional materials from the release of the '75 album "King Arthur," and a booklet containing a list of the band's performances in Japan in '75, "Listomania" and "White Rock. The set comes in a special hard case for storage, along with reprints of pamphlets including the "Listomania" and "White Rock" films. This is a must-have box set for fans of progressive rock, and it is aptly titled, as it contains a wealth of information on the band's activities during the progressive rock era. 27 CDs + 5 DVDs (DVDs are NTSC-compatible and can be viewed on all domestic consoles).
