The Other Two and Your Own World. The Other Two is an electro-pop unit consisting of Gillian Gilbert (key) and Stephen Morris (ds) of New Order. Their debut album "THE OTHER TWO & YOU" was released in 1993, and now, more than 30 years later, it is here in a new edition with new artwork! The gentle electro-pop sound that resonates comfortably once again embraces the world.... The Other Two is an electro-pop unit started in 1990 by Gillian Gilbert, a keyboardist who plays a key role in the sound of New Order, and drummer Stephen Morris. The unit's debut album, "THE OTHER TWO & YOU," was released in 1993, and now, more than 30 years after its release, it is available in a new edition with new artwork and previously unreleased versions of the original recordings. The unit was formed in 1990 by two former members of New Order.With the help of Jez Carr of Atherton Ratio, who led the Manchester post-punk scene with New Order, the duo recorded at Real World Studios in 1990 with Steven Hague as producer, and first released the single "Tasty Fish" in the same year. Tasty Fish" was released that same year and received very positive reviews from the media. The Other Two's debut album, THE OTHER TWO & YOU, was released on London Records in 1993, after Factory Records had closed its doors. In commenting on the release of this new edition, Steven and Gillian said, "This is the first time this album has been released, and we are very proud of it. Upon the release of the new edition, Stephen and Gillian commented, "Has it really been 31 years since this album was first released? It doesn't seem that long ago to us, but I guess it's a long time ago to you. We are both very excited about this new incarnation of our first attempt at a spin-off of this pop sound nonsense.The 2024 edition of "THE OTHER TWO & YOU," which will be released this year, features a previously unreleased remix version of the album track "Innocence" by Love To Infinity. The 2024 edition of THE OTHER TWO & YOU will include an unreleased remix version of the album track "Innocence" by Love To Infinity.
