Nemanja finally records Beethoven's Violin Concerto. He also added his own arrangement of the Kreutzer for violin solo and string ensemble, an innovative approach "This album presents Beethoven's Violin Concerto and Kreutzer Sonata as the core of the violin repertoire," Nemanja Radulović said. These Beethoven masterpieces have been recorded countless times, but each is sprinkled with innovative elements in Nemanja's approach. For the violin concerto, Nemanja has expanded the chamber ensemble "Douvre Sans," which he founded in 2008, to include additional members of the wind ensemble. Nemanja said, "Performing without a conductor, I wanted to maintain the special character of the Dubre Sans as an ensemble that explores new ways of interpreting music. In this recording of the concerto, we wanted to preserve the classical style of the work, while adding a sense of freedom to the interpretation and conveying a range of emotions: courage, fear, joy, love, anger, sadness, nostalgia, and especially the strange calm and tenderness in the second movement.Rather than teaming up with a pianist for the grand scale of the Kreutzer Sonata, here he plays his own arrangement for solo violin and string quintet. Nemanja emphasizes, "I allowed myself to use my imagination while remaining faithful to Beethoven, and ultimately adopted a 'sextet' format for my interpretation of this piece, with each playing an equal role."
