Falco was a pioneering Austrian artist who took the world by storm in the 1980s. The legendary artist, who passed away 25 years ago in 1998 at the age of 40, has released a live album "LIVE FOREVER: THE COMPLETE SHOW (BERLIN 1986)" featuring the full concert he gave in Berlin in 1986, at the height of his career. This live album is the only complete live recording of Falco's live performance. Falco is a pioneering artist born in Austria, who recorded the international hit "Rock Me Amadeus" in 1985, and was one of the first to introduce the world to the sound that would later become known as rap/hip-hop.The song reached No. 1 on the charts in the U.S. and the U.K., making it an unprecedentedly big hit for a song sung in German, and it was also a huge hit in Japan. In September 1986, Falco was at the height of his career when he began his "Emotional" world tour. Not only had his fourth album "EMOTIONAL" debuted at #1 in Germany and Austria, establishing him as a "superstar" in German-speaking countries and throughout Europe, but his single "Rock Me Amadeus" from his previous album, "FALCO 3," was also an amazing hit on the U.S. Singles Chart Hot 100. Falco became the only artist to achieve the historic feat of having a German-language song reach No. 1 in the U.S.It is not hard to imagine that this "EMOTIONAL" tour, held at the height of his career, became a monumental event, with thousands of fans celebrating this exceptional artist. A live album, "Live Forever," was released in 1999, which included some of this amazing performance, and it contained 13 songs from the October 27, 1986 performance at the Eissporthalle in Berlin. However, the actual set list consisted of 22 songs, and the remaining 9 songs were long considered lost, but after a long search, the source was finally found, and this year, 25 years after his death, that monumental live performance is finally being released in its complete form.
