15 selected piano and orchestra performances from Alexandre Tharaud's "Cinema" to be released on 180g analog LP in limited quantities! Alexandre Tharaud has selected 51 famous film scores from over 60 years of film history to be performed on the CD album "CINEMA". Fifteen of these pieces, selected from the performances by Taro and the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, conducted by Pappano, are now available in limited quantities on analog LP. Taro creates a sound world as thrilling as the film itself. He says, "As a child, I was lazy and quickly finished my piano studies, and from the age of five, I enjoyed improvising on familiar music, such as movie music from the TV at my grandparents' house. When I was young, I played live accompaniment for many silent films. In silent films, you have to play all the time without the audience noticing, so I learned how to think of music that wouldn't get in the way. I also had to exaggerate certain sequences to make the characters more or less likable, to make the audience laugh or cry.
