Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood owned the boutique SEX. The store, located on the King's Road in London, was a hangout for juvenile delinquents in search of the latest fashions, including future Sex Pistols members Steve Jones and Paul Cook and Suzy Sue (Suzy & the Banshees). This is the second volume of the "SEX" compilation, selected by Marco Pironi of Susie & the Banshees - Adam & the Ants, who also frequented "SEX" and collected many of the songs that were played on the "SEX" jukebox at the time. The Animals' black R&B punk "We've Gotta Get out of This Place," the Chris Farlow version of "Out of Time" (not the Stones), "LSD," the Legendary Stardust Cowboys' bare-bones hillbilly "Paralyzed," and "The Stones" (not the Stones). Paralyzed" by the Legendary Stardust Cowboys, aka "LSD"! It is interesting to note that the skinhead reggae anthem "Monkey Spanner" is also included.We are thrilled with the song selections that are very much in tune with London's youth culture!
