Following their critically acclaimed previous album *ITWON/TBELIKETHISALLTHETIME* (2019), this new release is the band’s most personal yet relatable work to date, featuring a portrait of wounded humanity that has helped them forge deep bonds with their audience. 『IT'STHELONGGOODBYE』 is an album brimming with heart and passion, exploring themes of grief, loss, and mental illness. James Graham’s unique, raw, and passionate vocals, combined with Andy MacFarlane’s majestic guitar work, draw listeners in deeply. Legendary artist Robert Smith, a self-proclaimed fan of THE TWILIGHTSAD, makes a guest appearance. The album was recorded at Battery Studios in Willsden with Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, Black Country New Road), and mixed by Chris Coady (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Slowdive, TV on the Radio, Future Islands).
