Formed in 1985, the James Taylor Quartet is a quartet of four British veterans who have been playing together since their early days in the 1960s. In the early days of the band, they mainly covered movie theme songs from the 1960s. Since that time, James' supreme Hammond organ playing has continued, and the rough, up-tempo, almost punk-like exhilaration of the backing band supports this supreme Hammond organ playing. Their style has evolved and become more fast-paced on the 2024 album! This is a must have for this occasion! Their second album, "The Money Spyder" (1987), was a very creative project in which they made their own soundtrack for an imaginary spy movie....
