Mike Oldfield is a British multi-instrumentalist and artist who gained worldwide recognition with his 1973 progressive rock/minimal music milestone "TUBULAR BELLS". His one-of-a-kind style, which makes full use of his own multiple recordings, has had a profound influence on the music scene since then. It was in 1992 that he left Virgin Records, to which he had belonged since his debut, and signed a new contract with Warner Records. From 1992 to 2003, he released a variety of works on the label, including the Tubular Bells series, which became his life's work, such as "TUBULAR BELLS II" (1992) and "TUBULAR BELLS III" (1998). The final chapter in the Tubular Bells series was the highly acclaimed "TUBULAR BELLS 2003", a self-remake of the original 1973 album, faithful to the original but with a modern update of the sound. TUBULAR BELLS 2003" is a highly acclaimed masterpiece. TUBULAR BELLS 2003 will be re-released on CD and limited edition blue analog in 2025. The music used in the famous movie, which is synonymous with Mike Oldfield, will once again be made available to fans around the world.
