And she was awarded "Conductor of the Year" at the 2024 Opera Awards. She has also served as Music Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra since 2022, becoming only the second woman in history to conduct a major American orchestra. Since 2021, she has also served as Principal Guest Conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
