Although their planned European tour last year was canceled, they have been working on a new album, with a release scheduled for the near future.
The Rolling Stones released the album 'Some Girls' in June 1978. It debuted at No. 1 on the US album charts, sold over 6 million copies, and reached No. 2 on the UK album charts, performing well amidst the punk rock movement. The band then embarked on their exclusive U.S. "Some Girls Tour," comprising 26 shows from the June 10 concert in Lakeland, Florida, to the October 7 performance in New York. The June 14 concert in New Jersey was recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour."
