However, in August 2021, the band faced a crisis with the sudden death of drummer Charlie Watts, one of the original members of the band. The band will release their first original album in 18 years, "Hackney Diamonds," in October 2023 (No. 1 in the U.K. and No. 3 in the U.S.) and embark on a world tour for the first time in many years. In the spring of 1976, Ron Wood was announced as Mick Taylor's replacement and released his first album "Black And Blue" (No.1 in the U.S. and No.3 in the U.S.). (No.1 in the U.S., No.2 in the U.K.). The band also tours Europe under the title of "Tour Of Europe '76".The concert at Earls Court in London on May 22 of the same year was recorded and broadcast as a BBC radio program.
