Formed by a group of musicians who gathered together as Linda Ronstadt's backing band, the Eagles debuted in 1971 with their debut album, which was a hit and garnered instant attention, and each subsequent album release was a big seller. In 1980, the band stopped performing and broke up in 1982, but reformed in 1994 and has been active ever since, albeit irregularly. Here is a rare live archive of the Eagles from the 1970s! The Eagles became one of the most popular American rock bands with their two hit albums. The Eagles produced their third rock-oriented album, "On The Border," and Don Felder joined the band as a guitarist. After the release of this album, the band performs a special promotional concert at the Beacon Theater in New York City for a TV/radio program. This is a live album recorded during the broadcast. Special guests include label mates Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne, who will perform with the Eagles on a set list consisting mainly of songs from the new album.Although the sound is in transition from the country-rock songs of the early days to a harder rock-oriented sound, the live performance offers plenty of the charm of this period of the Eagles' career.
