Eric Johnson first came to prominence when his 1986 album Tones was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. His unique guitar tone, amazing technique, and melodies that skillfully incorporate elements of jazz, blues, and country music have attracted many guitar freaks. In 2022, he has released two new albums, and is still actively performing. His 1990 album "Ah Via Musicom" charted at No. 67 on the U.S. album chart and was again nominated for a Grammy Award in the Rock Instrumental Performance category, The album was nominated for another Grammy Award in the Rock Instrumental Performance category and won their first Grammy Award for the song 'Cliffs Of Dover'. The release of the new album was accompanied by a 41-show North American tour, including a New York show on July 20, which was recorded and broadcast for television and radio.This is a live album based on the material broadcast on PBS (U.S.), and includes the complete concert performance including cover songs and encores. This concert performance, which showcases all of Eric Johnson's musicality, incorporating the essence of various types of music, is a wonderful showcase of his charm as a guitarist, and is a long-awaited work for his fans, as no live album of his from this period has been released!
