The second "LIGHT MELLOW SEARCHES" supervised by Hisakazu Kanazawa! This is the best AOR work in Steely Dan~Donald Fagen manner in recent years as well as Eji Motta's "AOR"! There are many followers of Steely Dan around the world, but Monkey House is the most important of them all. In reality, Monkey House is the one-man project of Don Breithaupt, a keyboard player/singer based in Toronto, Canada. Don is a well-known composer and arranger in the Canadian film and TV industry, as well as a film/music writer, and his research book "AJA" published in 2007 was introduced in Japan as "Steely Dan AJA Composition and Songwriting" (DU Books), which attracted attention from Ursa type music fans. This "HEADQUATERS" is the third original Monkey House album (there are other edited versions). The album features guests Michael Leonhardt (TR) and Drew Zing (G), support members of the original Steely Dan, and the entire album is a cool expression of their passion with a real band sound. The band's position is that of a "Canadian Keiichi Tomita.This release must be an opportunity to draw more attention to the don."-Hisakazu Kanazawa
