SCLL returns to its roots! The long-awaited new album is a new masterpiece in a cool mood with updated early mannerisms! Ampersand", their 14th album, is co-produced by Hitoshi Yoshida (salon music), their first full-length album in 15 years since "PURPLE". The album has a cool mood with a sound reminiscent of the early SCLL manner, updated with the soundscape of the post-Reiwa era. Three songs, "ira," "lean forward," and "near you -z-mix," which have been well-received in prior releases, are placed at key points on the album. The contrast of stillness and movement in minimalism, the ear-catching melodies and delicate vocals, and the production and mixing by Hitoshi Yoshida, which maximizes the characteristics and weapons of the SCLL sound, make for a new dimension that is a perfect match! The 10 tracks of SCLL's latest sound are based on the sonic approach of their origins in post-rock and electronica, but also encompass the essence of R&B, new wave, and a wide range of other genres.
