This is the most long-awaited reissue of the most important spiritual jazz label "Strata-East". This is a miracle album that includes the masterpiece "Peace," a fusion of peaceful worldview, modal sound, and black groove! This is the first album recorded in 1974 by the Ensemble Al-Salam led by saxophonist Khaliq Abdul Al-Roof. The album features the Afrocentric "The Sojourner," the very prototype of "Two Banks of Four," "Circles," the high-speed modal jazz "Trace Of Trane" dedicated to Coltrane, the thrilling and tension-filled "Malika," the peace-filled "Optimystical," and the "Souls of the Saxophone," the "Souls of the Saxophone," and the "Souls of the Saxophone. Optimystical", and the warm and soulful first half of "Peace", which turns into a raging Brazilian song, I sincerely hope as many music fans as possible to listen to this album! I sincerely hope that as many music fans as possible will listen to this album! The song with Beatrice Parker, a female vocalist full of life, is a gem.
