The 9th subscription concert, entitled "100 Years of Reed, 100 Years of Piazzolla," was finally held after overcoming the Corona disaster. In the spring of 2020, a mysterious virus suddenly emerged and our daily lives were drastically changed. The Nagoya Academic Winds also had to suspend all activities, including regular concerts. Most of the members are freelance. Life itself was a crisis, a survival situation. On September 13, 2021, with the support of many people, we were finally able to hold a subscription concert. The concert was titled "100 years of Reed and 100 years of Piazzolla. The concert was filled with joy of being on stage, joy of playing music, joy of playing instruments, joy of sharing time with friends, passionate thoughts, and smiles. This CD album is recorded live as it was at the concert. There are also some mistakes.There is some ensemble disorder. There is also some poor musicality. We hope that the thoughts of all the members of Academic Winds will reach you through your speakers and headphones! And we hope you will continue to support us. Mamoru Nakata Brain Music
