The original is based on a very popular manga! The original manga has been made into a live-action movie, and the anime is based on the work written by Chika Umino, a well-known manga author with a large and enthusiastic fan base. In 2003, it won the 27th Kodansha Manga Award in the girls' category. Takarajimasya's "This Manga is Amazing! Onna Hen" by Takarajimasya in 2006 and 2007, and was ranked No. 1 for two consecutive years.The talented staff and cast who will bring the "HACHIGURO" world to life have gathered in large numbers! Directed by Kenichi Kasai of "Nodame Cantabile" and Tatsuyuki Nagai of "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphens". Character design by Shuichi Shimamura and animation production by J.C.
