Little Witch Academia" was released in March 2013 as part of "Anime Mirai 2013," a project by the Agency for Cultural Affairs to nurture young animators. When an entire episode was uploaded to Youtube, fans who had seen the work expressed their desire for a sequel, and the crowdfunding site Kick-starter was set up to help fund the project. The goal of $150,000 was reached in just six hours, and within a month, the total amount of $625,518 (about 74 million yen) was raised, four times the goal, and a decision was made to produce a new film. In July 2015, the world's fastest premiere was held at Anime Expo 2015, the largest anime convention in North America, prior to the screening in Japan, and the 4,000 people who filled the venue gave the film a standing ovation for the first time in the event's history. The long-awaited sequel, "Little Witch Academia: Magical Parade". Magic is already happening both outside and inside the work. Now, it's your turn to witness the magic.
