Trio Accord was formed in 2003 by three talented classmates while studying at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. After a period of interruption due to study abroad and other reasons, the trio is currently performing remarkably well. Their debut recording of Beethoven's Piano Trios No. 5 "Ghost" and No. 6" (FOCD9838), made immediately after their performance of the complete works in 2020, received a special mention in Record Geijutsu magazine, which praised the recording, saying, "The performance is full of extremely vigorous and dramatic expression, and is truly a rewarding listen. The performance is full of dramatic expression and is truly worth listening to. Five years later, Mendelssohn has come out with a rare masterpiece of chamber music, which is already called a virtuoso performance, while staying close to the romantic style of Mendelssohn. Trio Accord (Piano Trio) This piano trio was formed in 2003 by Kei Shirai (violin), Hiroki Kadowaki (cello), and Yuya Tsuda (piano), all of whom were classmates at Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts, each studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, the Amsterdam Conservatory, and the Berlin University of the Arts, and their activities were temporarily suspended.With an extensive repertoire ranging from classical to modern music, they have performed in Tokyo, Sapporo, Sendai, Hiroshima, Niigata, Kitakyushu, Wakayama, Fukui, and other cities in Japan. In March 2020, the trio gave a three-day performance of Beethoven's complete piano trio at the Tokyo Spring Music Festival, which was highly acclaimed for its precise ensemble and high artistic quality.
