The world's first reissue on CD of the 1983 cassette tape of DRUNK DRIVING, the band that formed the foundation of the legendary junk noise band Missing Foundation! DRUNK DRIVING was formed by Peter Missing, frontman of the legendary junk noise band Missing Foundation, Chris Egan, the original drummer of Missing Foundation, and Bob Bert of Sonic Youth and Pussy Galore, DRUNK DRIVING" was formed by Peter Missing, the frontman of Missing Foundation, Chris Egan, the original drummer of Missing Foundation, and Bob Bert of Sonic Youth and Pussy Galore, and became the foundation of Missing Foundation. DRUNK DRIVING was formed in 1980 in Hoboken, NJ by Peter Missing, Chris Egan, Bob Burt, etc. In 1981, the band moved to New York City where they performed weekly with SWANS, Sonic Youth, Heart Attack, etc. in New York City. New York City and became a part of the New York underground.Eventually, Bob Burt left the band to concentrate on his work with Sonic Youth Pussy Galore, but Peter and Chris replaced the members and continued DRUNK DRIVING, recording their first and only album in 1983 at Dubway Studios in New York City and releasing it on cassette. The first and only album was recorded at DUBWAY Studios in New York City in 1983 and released on cassette. Soon after, Peter Missing and Chris Egan disbanded DRUNK DRIVING and formed the Missing Foundation in 1984. This cassette, which is the only recording of DRUNK DRIVING, has been sold to collectors for around $100 as a phantom item.
