Moment Joon has been creating under the name of himself as an "immigrant rapper" since his debut in 2019. His music is full of ridicule and anger born from living in Japan as an immigrant, the set up of his relationship with mainstream society and the loneliness that comes from it. Nonetheless, Moment Joon sings about connection and hope in "TENO HIRA". The sea of palms he creates by singing "Show me your palms" as he breaks free from the term "minority" that confines him, The sea of palms he sings and creates with "Show me the palms of your hands" is the purest form of Japanese hip-hop that cannot be erased by the label of "socially conscious rapper. As an immigrant rapper, he expresses his unique perspective through his music.Released [Immigration EP] in 2019. released the album "Passport & Garcon" in 2020 with guest appearances by HUNGER and JUSTHIS. released the DX of "Passport & Garcon" in 2021 with Young Coco, Cai Chung-Ho (bonobos), During his one-man live performance in 2022, he announced that he would retire after releasing his masterpiece of hip-hop. This was a shock to the audience. In 2023, he launched his own label, "HOPE MACHINE FACTORY," in order to improve his experience and skills and to express his artistry, which he had not been able to approach before, in order to create a masterpiece. As the first release, he collaborated with Fisong on the album "Only Built 4 Human Links". He released "SAKURA AVALANCHE" on the theme of Japanese cherry blossoms in rapid succession.In 2024, he released the three-name single "Survive & Celebrate" with EASTA & hokuto. He has been active since the label's inception, and has appeared on Future Chasers by NIKE x iD japan, Red Bull RASEN, and more. In his writing career, he published an autobiographical long essay "Three Generations" in Bungei (Fall 2019 issue). Subsequently, his long-awaited first book, "Diary of a Japanese Immigrant," published by Iwanami Shoten, received a resounding response with an additional edition immediately after its release. In his many activities, he is the one and only person who continues to deliver what is necessary for today's Japan and words that only he can see and write from a perspective that only he can deliver.
