Description:
This is the only album by British singer/songwriter Jeremy Harmer, which was independently pressed in 1969 in an edition of 99 copies. This is a very rare album of psychedelic folk with a very melancholic and introspective chamber/baroque flavor. He started singing and playing when he was a student, and his circle of friends included aspiring musicians such as Nick Drake and David Costa. This album was recorded at Anglia Television's studio in Norwich one night in 1968 while he was at university. In addition to Jeremy's singing and guitar, a mini chamber ensemble of flute, viola, bass, and drums was added, along with orchestral arrangements by John Trevitt of the School of Fine Arts, and friend David Costa (before the formation of the Trees) played guitar on several tracks and co-wrote "Tuesday P. M.". M." on which his friend David Costa (before the formation of Trees) played guitar on several songs. Only 99 copies of this album were pressed at the time, all of which were sold to university faculty and staff, making it a rarity. It is a masterpiece that has been rumored to be known even among British folk fans due to its sad atmosphere and content.
