Brian Poole & The Tremellows, who had their debut with the Beatles at the legendary Decca Auditions in January, 1969, and are still popular among 60s and 70s pop lovers, released this album in 1970. All of the songs are originals, and the band's musicality as songwriters stands out on this masterpiece, reaching new heights as a band. The song "Wait For Me" starts with a free guitar riff and shout, "Long Road" is a bright sunshine pop song, and "Now's The Time" is a folky pop song reminiscent of Pete DeLo. The beautiful CSN&Y-like harmonies, and the high quality of the music throughout the entire album. The soft rock of "By The Way" and the late Beatles-like "Willow Tree" are the best of the band's work, and the highest level of British pop at the same time.The bonus singles and rare recordings show just how good the Tremeloes were during this period.
