[ONE STEP FESTIVAL 50th ANNIVERSARY]In 1974, the super band Transom from the legendary Koriyama One Step Festival made their first appearance in this stand-alone release series (included in FJSP288 "ONE STEP FESTIVAL Permanent Preservation Edition" released in 2017), inspired by Woodstock. One Step Festival was organized by a young man in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, and took four years to put together with his friends, with Yuya Uchida and Keiichi Ishizaka producing the event. The festival was held in Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture, in August 1974. A square for the young people! And big dreams! The festival was Japan's first rock event and the origin of the "One Step Festival." From August 4 to 10, 39 Japanese musicians, including Yoko Ono & Plastic Ono Super Band and Kris Kristofferson & Rita Coolidge from the U.S., participated in the festival. This CD contains all the performances by Transom, a super group consisting of Tome Kitagawa, Hideki Ishima, Nobuhiko Shinohara, Tsugitoshi Goto, and Tito Kawachi, who appeared before Rita Coolidge & Kris Kristofferson on the stage on the first day, August 4.Both are 10-15 minute long jam numbers, progressive and psychedelic jazz funk, and are very valuable recordings.
