The birth of Japanese "Black Radio"! Soundtype is a borderless piano trio that aims to create a sound that transcends all boundaries, and is now releasing its long-awaited debut album! He is a new star of the piano world, Yusuke Kono, who has performed at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and successfully toured not only in Japan but also in Denmark, and his sensitive and powerful bass playing has made his name known even in Europe, the home of jazz. Yuta Komino is a talented bassist who has made his name known in Europe, the home of jazz, with his sensitive and powerful bass playing. Jun Otsu, a multi-instrumentalist who lived in Detroit, USA as a child and has performed with top jazz and R&B musicians in Japan and abroad with his powerful beats and techniques that are strongly influenced by American culture. The sound of these three musicians with different backgrounds resonates beyond the boundaries of genres and styles. Musical differences, real and online barriers, and national borders. Aiming for a sound that transcends all boundaries, they formed the borderless piano trio "Soundtype" in 2023.They debuted in April 2024 with "Parachute Session Playwright Festival" and finally released their debut album "Soundtype" on November 6 with their ear-catching songs and high performance quality! The album features a diverse lineup of guest performers, including Chloe Kibble, an American singer with gospel roots; Sho Gen, a rapper known as a central figure in Shibuya Cypher; and Yota Miyazato, a saxophonist who has played as a back-up musician for Tatsuro Yamashita, The result is a debut album that is reminiscent of a Japanese "Black Radio.
