The original soundtrack disc of "Teito Monogatari" was released in 1988 and has since been revived in 2025. The music is by Ishii Maki. This grand-scale musical work, composed as a suite "Teito Monogatari" and performed by the New Japan Philharmonic under the direction of Naoto Otomo, has been digitally remastered and released in SHM-CD format after a lapse of 36 years. The music for the original soundtrack disc of the sequel, "Teito Taisen" was composed by Koji Ueno.
