The year 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Fubuki Koshiji (1924-1980), the greatest postwar entertainer, queen of chansons, musical actress, and unforgettable star. To commemorate this occasion, we are releasing a CD package of all five titles of her recitals from the 1960s, when she was at the height of her singing ability, from among the many Nissay Theatre recital albums that have not yet been fully digitized or released on CD. Recitals. These performances, which filled the theater every time during their month long run, were released as LP records almost once a year at the time. However, each album has never been reissued in its entirety. In order to pass on Koshiji Fubuki's achievements to future generations, the early Nissay Theatre recital series, which were held with a particularly magnificent full orchestra, are now finally available in high-quality sound on SHM-CD. Also included is a gorgeous booklet featuring rare photos from the concert pamphlets of the time, his own comments, and treasured stage photos. This is a limited first production edition for permanent preservation.
