This is the most popular live compilation in the Crimson live archive, which has been overwhelmingly supported by both core fans and beginners alike.This is the second compilation of the best parts of the 1973 live performances recorded as part of the production of "Underworld" and the 1974 live performances, when the band entered the red zone in terms of relationships and performances and became a fierce improvisation unit that was on the verge of dissolving. The live versions of songs from "Sun and Fear", "Underworld", and "Red" are of course a must-hear, but the true essence of this compilation is that it contains the best parts of Crimson Improvisation as selected by Fripp himself while looking back on his activities at the time and carefully examining the recordings! Also of note is the self-selected best performance of "The Great Deceiver," the opening track of "Underworld," which was the latest release at the time of the 1974 tour, but was only performed for a short period of time. This is a compilation of the best performances from Crimson's most passionate period, when the band still reigned supreme at the pinnacle of progressive rock half a century later.
