Now and Then" is The Last Beatles Song, written and sung by John Lennon and elaborated by Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, and finally completed by Paul and Ringo over 40 years later. The album features their debut single "Love Me Do" as both A-sides. The original cover art was done by famous artist Ed Ruscha. Paul's comment: "John's voice sounds so clear. I was quite impressed. It's really exciting to be still working on Beatles music in 2023 and to be releasing new songs that the public hasn't heard yet. Ringo comments: "It was very emotional for all of us because it was the closest we ever got to him, next to him coming back into the room. It was like John was there. It was novel." Olivia Harrison comments: "Back in 1995, after working on the song for a few days in the studio, George felt he couldn't overcome the technical problems with the demo and concluded that he couldn't possibly finish the song to a high enough standard. Danny and I are convinced that if he were here today, he would have put his heart and soul into completing the recording of Now and Then with Paul and Ringo." Sean Ono Lennon comments: "When I heard they were working together after so many years since my father was gone, I was extremely moved.
