The latest orchestral album by post-classical charismatic Max Richter, streamed over 200 million times. The world premiere recording of the ballet music "Exiles"! Exiles is the music for the ballet Singuliere Odyssee, which premiered at the Netherlands Dance Theatre in 2016. The ballet was performed at the Netherlands Dance Theatre's Japan tour in June 2019.The work is based on the "migrant crisis" of March 2011, when people fled the civil war caused by the democratic movement known as the "Arab Spring". The album features newly recorded orchestral versions of Richter's most famous songs, including "On the Nature of Daylight. The gorgeous sound of the orchestra deepens the emotional impact. Performed by Christian Järvi, an expert in contemporary music who also conducted Max Richter's Japan tour in 2019. *This product will be available for sale on Friday, so products will be delivered on or after the day of release.
