[Kenny Burrell's 90th Anniversary SHM-CD Collection] To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of Kenny Burrell, a modern jazz guitarist with an urban and sophisticated blues feel who has many fans, we are reissuing his classic and rare recordings from his heyday in the 1950s and 60s. This is an album with popular organist Jimmy Smith, who was a major artist of the Verve at the time. Both musicians are known for their blues music, and they collaborated well with each other.
