Someday, somewhere, if I could sing with you. This new album, his first in two years since "Rule Blue" (2018), is the third in the Love Song Cover Series, following "Love Stories" (2015) and "Love Stories 2: When I Was a Young Leaf" (2016). This time around, the album focuses on covers of classic songs by his beloved songwriters from the 1970s to the 1990s, with four songs featuring duets with guest vocalists Haruomi Hosono, Taeko Onuki, Keigo Oyamada, and Asako Toki. Produced and arranged by guitarist/composer Goro Ito, who has worked with Tomoyo Harada since 2007. The backing members are trusted musicians who have recorded and toured together in recent years. The songs are sung as if they were the main characters of the lyrics, as only an actress and singer like Tomoyo Harada can do. Like the previous "Love Stories" series, this is a nostalgic yet fresh pop album with a natural taste.The limited first pressing will additionally include "Winter Lullaby," an English-language version of "Fuyu no Komori Uta," which was released in 2019 and used as the theme song for "Sumikko Gurashi: The Movie Sumikko Gurashi Tobidashi Ehon to Himitsu no Ko," as well as "Koi wo Koishite" (a cover of "A Side" by Niagara Triangle) and "A Doodlin' Song" (a duet with Haruomi Hosono) and a bonus DVD with music videos.
