Of the 44 songs that appeared on their A and B sides, 29 were not included on albums released in the UK at the time. These singles, as well as "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love," both released in the mid-1990s, have been newly cut from the original mono and stereo master tapes by Sean Magee at Abbey Road Studios as double A-side singles for this limited edition Sean McGee of Abbey Road Studios re-cut the song from the original mono and stereo master tapes to vinyl for this limited edition box set. The Beatles: The Singles Collection" contains 46 tracks on 23 7-inch singles in sleeves that faithfully reproduce the original cover photos of the international releases. The accompanying 40-page booklet includes a detailed essay by Beatles scholar Kevin Howlett, in addition to photos and ticket stubs. This collector's set will be released simultaneously worldwide on November 22. The Singles Collection" provides a look at the creative trajectory of The Beatles John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr during the relatively short period of time they recorded together.The fact that it took only three and a half years from 1963's "See Loves You" to 1967's "Strawberry Fields Forever" speaks volumes about the band's groundbreaking development in such a short time. From the 1962 debut single "Love Me Do/P.S. I Love You," which propelled the band to the stars, to the final single "Let It Be/You Know My Name" in 1970, this new collection is a breathtaking look at The Beatles' creative arc is highlighted.
