Description:
We’re Going to Teach the Teachers!! Public schools are seeing their student populations continue to decline due to factors like the falling birthrate and the introduction of school choice systems… This drama is set at Joto Ward No. 8 Junior High School, which is rumored to be facing closure due to school consolidation. With staff cuts leading to an increased workload of administrative tasks, and teachers preoccupied with figuring out what to do after the school closes, they seem completely disengaged from their teaching duties. The students’ spirits are in shambles, and the school is on the verge of collapse. Yusuke Uchi plays the homeroom teacher, who started out as a passionate new teacher but has become a failure. The student roles are played by Hey! Say! JUMP! members Yuto Nakajima, Ryosuke Yamada, Yuri Chinen, and Daiki Arioka, as well as Fuma Kikuchi, Misaki Takahata, and Kento Nakajima from the Johnny’s Jr. unit B.I.Shadow. Aiya Kato and Satoshi Yashima also join the cast as teachers surrounding the protagonist. "Scrap Teacher," a drama that tackles the issue of classroom breakdown with such a diverse cast, is finally available on DVD-BOX!
