Daisuke Morikawa has been performing on various singing shows since childhood, winning numerous awards and debuting in 2016 with "Castle in the Sky: Takeda Castle". Most recently, he released "Yokohama Avantur" on Columbia Records in 2023. This single, the first single after transferring to Nippon Crown, was written by Reiko Yukawa and arranged by Takashi Toshimi, with Masanobu Suezaki as the music producer and Reiko Yukawa as the lyricist. The song is a modern version of a Latin Showa song. It is an excellent work that can be called the definitive modern version of a Latin Showa song! Daisuke Morikawa sings with his singing ability to the Latin rhythm that makes you want to dance unintentionally. The other song on the double A-side single is "Yoseme no Kuchizuke. Poem by Goro Matsui, arrangement by Yukio Takezawa, also a member of Safety Zone. The song is a classic work reminiscent of the good old 80's J-Pop songs. From the introductory part, you will be immersed in a mellow and sophisticated atmosphere, and you will enjoy both listening to and singing along to this song. (C)RS
