This is the 4th single from Gekkan PAM, an alternative girls unit consisting of Miku Funai and Mirai Utsunomiya, former vocalists of The Coin Lockers. Swimming with the Moon on a Spring Night" is a number with a beautiful, delicately shimmering melody spun in a gentle and tender voice, a new approach to a new standard that has not been seen in Gekkan PAM up to now. The airy and light sound of "Swimming with the Moon on a Spring Night" gives the song a pleasant floating feeling, just like "swimming with the moon on a spring night," and it adds a new charm of "beauty" and "coolness" to PAM's musicality, which has been based on "heat," "fun," and "happy feeling" that only the two can create. The "Distant Room" is a song that is easy to listen to and enjoy. Distant Room" is an emotional rock tune that slowly builds up in intensity from the start of the slow-paced song. The song is the quintessence of PAM Gekkan, with a sense of fading and dampness, but with a definite heat radiating from the melody that has a sense of urgency. The strangely pop guitar riffs also catch the ear, and the song is sure to become an anthem at future live performances. Both songs were written and arranged by Koichi Ogawa of Goodnight Hologram, the music producer of Gekkan PAM.
