Born and raised in the suburbs of Baltimore, Snail Maille, aka Lindsay Jordan, released her EP Habit (2016) on local punk label Sister Polygon Records at the age of 16, which garnered praise from the New York Times and other major media outlets. The young singer-songwriter, Lindsay Jordan aka Snail Maille, has finally released her debut album, which has been a hot topic of conversation among early listeners, including being selected as tour support for Belle and Sebastian even before her debut! The first song "Pristine" (M-2), which was released at the same time as the album announcement, suddenly won "Best New Track" on Pitchfork in the U.S. and more,The way it builds up reminds me of labelmate Julian Baker, who got his big break in 2017. The entire album is full of lyrics with a message that expresses the worries and struggles that every teenager has, a melancholy voice that cannot hide its yearning for 90s alternative music, and a lo-fi rock sound that resonates straight and elongated, naturally attracting the listener. The album was produced by Solange and Griffiths. Produced by Jake Aron, who has worked with Solange, Grizzly Bear, and Yumi Zouma, the album was recorded with engineer Johnny Schenk, who has worked with The Drums and Parkay Coates.KissBee's new single, which marks the 8th anniversary of their debut this year, is released! *Three types of jackets and two songs are included. Included songs are the same for each type.
