Mahler's "Resurrection" 2P+Solo & Chorus version! Newly released in Japan! The Gewandhaus Choir of Leipzig has created a new small version of "Resurrection" for the new Corona Disaster, and this new domestic edition with Japanese commentary has been newly released! This is a four-hand piano version of Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" arranged under Mahler's supervision (with annotations and corrections by Mahler) around 1900 by the future master Bruno Walter, who was assisting Mahler as choral conductor in Hamburg at the time Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" was completed. The Gewandhaus Choir conducted by Frank-Stefan Elster and two Gewandhaus pianists, Gregor Meyer and Walter Zoller, have expanded the four-hand piano version of Walter's arrangement and arranged it for two pianos plus solo voice and chorus (plus trumpet and flugelhorn). The Resurrection Symphony in a new chamber version. The work's radical nature and adventurous harmony and form clearly emerge in this unusual small-format version, sung by the Gewandhaus's leading choirs. Tokyo M-Plus
