Description:
Master flutist Vincent Lucas! Mozart played by the greats of the Orchestre de Paris! New recording by French flutist Vincent Lucas, who played with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra during the Abbado era and is currently the principal flutist of the prestigious Orchestre de Paris! A collection of flute quartets played with the virtuosos who support the string section of the Orchestre de Paris! Indesens, a French label that has been releasing a series of high-quality wind instrument recordings, presents a collection of flute quartets by Vincent Lucas, the principal flutist of the prestigious Orchestre de Paris, and the three virtuoso players who support the string section of the same orchestra, Mercadante & Mozart Quartets. This album of Mozart flute quartets is a must-listen for anyone involved with the flute. Vincent Lucas, one of the world's leading flutists, was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris at the age of 14, graduating at the top of his class. After a stint with the Orchestre de la Capitole de Toulouse, he joined the Berlin Philharmonic in 1989, where he remained for six years during the Abbado era. Currently, he is a member of the elite of the French flute world as a principal player of the prestigious Orchestre de Paris in his native France. This album couples the quartet works of Mercadante, who is considered an important reformer of Italian opera and left many instrumental works, with the flute quartets composed by Mozart between 1777 and 1786.A synthesis of Gallant style and romantic virtuosity, this album demonstrates the extraordinary technical brilliance of the classical flute in chamber music works. With the full commitment of Eiichi Chidaiwa, Deputy Concertmaster of the Orchestre de Paris, David Gaillard, Principal Viola, and Emmanuel Gauguet, Principal Cello, and the beautiful sound of the Lucas produced by "Muramatsu Flute," a pioneer flute maker in Japan, this album brings the wonderful music of that period to the present day. The beautiful sound of the Lucas, produced by "MURAMATSU FLUTE," a pioneer flute manufacturer in Japan, will bring the wonderful music of that time to the present day. Tokyo M-Plus
