He was active as a songwriter, arranger, and conductor during the 1960s and 1970s, and his work transcends genres, writing more than 70 ballads for many pop singers. All of the "Works for Guitar" on this album are written in familiar tunes and leave a strong impression that cannot be forgotten once heard. With "Sea Evening Lesson" with its beautiful melody that invites nostalgia, "Consonata" with its wistful cello melody, "Elegy 1980," the most cutting-edge sounding piece on the album, "Kaleidoscope" reminiscent of 1960s pop music, and the technical "Emotions," this is a piece that allows you to enjoy the broad world of Contogiorgos.
